What is a "managed Persona"? +
A managed Persona is any active contributor (≥1 activity in the last 30 days) monitored by DevPrism: human developers (25€), AI assistant seats (10€/user of Copilot, Cursor, etc.), or autonomous AI agents (20€/bot like Devin, Codex).
Why charge per Persona rather than per developer? +
In an era of AI agents producing commits and PRs, a per-developer model undervalues the governance needed. Our per-Persona model aligns revenue with value: as AI accelerates your team, your governance platform scales with it.
What is an AEIP vs a traditional EIP? +
An AEIP (Agentic Engineering Intelligence Platform) goes beyond passive dashboards. It adds autonomous AI agents that investigate root causes, orchestrate PRs, and enforce policies — not just showing metrics but taking action.
Can I test without a credit card? +
Yes. Every signup gets a 14-day free trial with full Pro features — no credit card required. After the trial, you can continue on the free Starter plan (up to 7 Personas) or upgrade to Pro.
Can I change plans at any time? +
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time, prorated to the day.
Is my data stored in Europe? +
Yes. All data is stored in Azure France Central (France). GDPR native, DPA available on request.
How does billing work with multiple AI tools? +
An AI seat is counted per developer using the tool, not per provider. If Alice uses both Copilot and Cursor, that's 1 AI seat (not 2). The pricing captures usage, not tool count.
Are Dependabot, Renovate bots billed? +
No. Maintenance bots (Dependabot, Renovate, etc.) are automatically excluded and do not count as a billable Persona.
Which AI agents and bots does DevPrism detect automatically? +
DevPrism recognizes 40+ agents and bots across GitHub, GitLab, and Azure DevOps. Detection is automatic — no configuration required.
Which autonomous AI agents are detected? +
GitHub Copilot (cloud agent), Devin, Cursor, Amazon Q Developer, Gemini Code Assist, Claude, CodeRabbit, Qodo Merge, Sourcery AI, Sweep AI, SWE-Agent, OpenHands, Codegen, v0, Lovable, and more. These are billed at 20€/agent/month.
Which maintenance bots are detected (free)? +
Dependabot, Renovate, Snyk, Greenkeeper, Codecov, SonarCloud, GitGuardian, Semgrep, GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, Mergify, Imgbot, and many more. These are always excluded from billing.
What if my AI agent isn't in the list? +
DevPrism uses multiple detection heuristics that are continuously updated. If an agent is not automatically detected, contact our support team and we'll add it within 24 hours. We regularly expand our detection capabilities.
